ADULT CLASSES

Beginner through advanced classes for adults -returning dancers and absolute beginners.

PRIVATE COACHING

One-on-one and semi-private coaching for technique, variations, auditions, pointe preparation, competition work, and choreography.

YOUTH PROGRAM

A limited, technique-first youth program with small classes, safe progression, and individualized attention.

Rent Our Space

  • Our main mirrored studio for classes, auditions, rehearsals, workshops, and photo or video shoots. Best for larger groups and full-company work.

  • A quieter space for private lessons, coaching, physical therapy, small rehearsals, self-tapes, and one-on-one creative work.

  • A full-lot outdoor venue with a large concrete slab—ideal for rehearsals, photo and video shoots, markets, workshops, installations, gatherings, and performances. Creative use starts at $75/hour; events start at $150/hour with a four-hour minimum.

  • An industrial performance and event space for showcases, readings, intimate productions, workshops, filming, and private events. Three-hour minimum; event staffing and special setup quoted separately.

Your Questions, Answered

Do I need previous ballet experience?

No. Absolute beginners, returning dancers, and experienced adults are all welcome. We’ll help you choose the right starting point.

Can young dancers come only for private coaching?

Yes. Dancers may remain enrolled at their home studio and come to OCAB for specialized coaching, variations, auditions, pointe work, or choreography.

Are there performance opportunities?

Yes. Select students and adult dancers may participate in studio showcases and Bishop Street Ballet projects when appropriate.
