Class Tracks

Let’s see what track is best for you

LEVEL 1

Creative Movement

(Ages 4-6)

Structure and routine are essential in this class. Students will learn to follow directions and expectations of class, learn proper etiquette, and display respect for fellow students, teacher and space.

LEVEL 2 - 3

Classes will feature an introduction to formal ballet techniques starting at the barre. Exercises emphasize the development of a dancer's balance, focus, and understanding of the vocabulary, musicality, and stamina. Dancers practice stretching and strengthening exercises to help promote a healthy foundation for work in the preparatory program. This is the age where students are introduced to other forms of dance such as Tap and Jazz.

Ballet II & III

(Ages 7 - 8)

LEVEL 4

Intermediate

(Ages 9-11)

This is the first year of formal training in classical ballet technique. At this level, students will start a detailed study of the fundamentals of ballet to include: beginning barre work, beginning center work, and stretching. Students will develop muscular control, self-discipline, and turnout. At this age, dancers may begin pre-pointe exercises to prepare the legs and feet for pointe shoes.
